akg Images

akg-images was founded in 1945 as the “Archive for Art and History” in Leipzig. Today we are an internationally active picture agency with our own offices in Berlin, London and Paris as well as partner agencies worldwide. Our focus is on art, culture and history. We have acquired important photographic estates and represent contemporary photographers.

DINAX

The idea for a product like Mirage was obvious. Since 1993 we at DINAX have been working on various levels on the optimal output of digital data on inkjet-based printing printing systems.

Mirage is specially developed for users in the fields of photography, fine art and printing services, marketing agencies and professional amateurs.

Agentur Ostkreuz

In autumn 1990, seven men and women who were some of the GDR’s most significant photographers, got together and established this photographer’s agency. ‘Ostkreuz’ sought to describe a location, the East, where a country had yet ceased to exist but also referred to a point, an intersection from which one can set out in any direction Today, Ostkreuz is the most successful photographers’ run agency in Germany with 22 photographers. Almost all of them have been distinguished with national and international prizes.

The University of Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW Berlin) is the largest state university for applied sciences in Berlin and East Germany with more than 13,000 students and more than 500 employees. There are about 70 study programs in the fields of technology, computer science, business, culture and design.

PiB (Photography in Berlin) is a curated, bilingual (en/de) platform for fine art & documentary photography in Berlin. PiB presents highlights from Berlin’s vibrant photography scene to an international readership – on its website, in the weekly E-Newsletter, and in the bi-monthly published print issue, the PiB Guide.

BKK Kulturwerk

The Kulturwerk GmbH of the BBK (Professional Association of Visual Artists Berlin) has supported the foundation of p: photography unlimited e.V. as a cooperation partner. The printing workshop in the Kulturwerk of the BKK Berlin originated in 1955 and was expanded from 1973 in Bethanien with public funds and opened to all artists. It is the largest non-commercial art printing workshop in the world.
